AMD Radeon RX 590 Mid-Range GPU Announced for Full-HD PC Gaming
AMD is introducing a new mid-range graphics processor, the Radeon RX590, to catch the demand of users who want to upgrade, but don't spend too much. The Radeon RX590 is not based on the new architecture, but rather refreshes the current Polaris architecture. AMD's first GPU is built with the new 12nm process, which provides superior performance and performance. The new widget-based graphics will not replace the older models, but will fit between the Radeon RX 580 and higher Radeon Vega 56 introduced last year. AMD has a retail price of $ 279 (approximately Rs. 20,000) and will be manufactured and sold by Card, XFX, Asus, Sapphire and Powercolor, among others. They will go on sale internationally from 15 November.
According to AMD, the Radeon RX 590 is ideal for playing current AAA 1920x1080 game titles, a resolution that is used by 64 percent of gamers today. Compared to the Radeon RX 580 (overview), the new Radeon RX 590 should offer a 12 percent boost at the same thermal and power requirements. At that resolution, gamers can expect to see performances above 60fps in Row Cry 5, Monster Hunter World, PUBG and Fortnite; More than 90rpm in Battlefield 1, Doom and Forza Horizon 4; And above 120fps in CS: Go, Dot 2, Overwatch, League of Legends and COD: Black Ops 4.
AMD is specifically targeting gamers looking to upgrade the Radon RX 480 or Nvidia GForce GTX 970 GPUs, which are now several years old. The Radeon RX 590 claims that AAA titles and esports can be significantly improved compared to these older graphics graphics, but the Radeon RX 580 has not been upgraded. AMD also promises rich, immersive VR experiences.
In terms of specifications, the new GPUs classify 2304 current processors into 36 units of computing, similar to the Radeon RX 580, but they will operate with a higher base and increase speeds from 1469MHz to 1545MHz respectively. The total bandwidth is rated at 7.1 teraflops. All Radeon RX 590 graphics cards will have 8 GB GDDR5 RAM in a 256-bit bus. As with all current AMD graphics processors, there will be support for variable refresh rates with Freeskin compatible monitors. Various driver and software features are supported, including Vulcan's low-level rendering API, AMD's Radeon ReLive for recording and streaming, and Radeon Chill, which cover and control frameworks for low power consumption.
The Radeon RX 590 graphics card will compete with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 model on the market. To sweeten the deal, AMD is offering a new gaming package in its product lineup. Three games are free with all graphics card purchases or fully integrated PCs with the Radeon RX 590 GPU: Devil May Cry 5, Division 2 and Resident Evil 2, which together represent significant value. The same free games will be free with Radeon RX Vega products, and anyone who buys the Radeon RX 580 or Radeon RX 570 can choose from two.
